CONTENT ANALYSIS
              ‘ The Enchanted shirt ’ is a ballad by the American poet John Hay. It is a story told in the form of poem. The poet tells us the story of a king who lived in a self-centered life and never bothered  to think of others. He said he was sick but his cheek was red and eyes clear and bright.
Vocabulary = Zest, Studious.

Do you know what is a Ballad?

‘A poem or song narrating a story in short stanzas. Traditional ballads are typically of unknown authorship, having been passed on orally from one generation to the next.

Have you heard of vadakkanpattukal?

1.    Vadakkan Pattukal (or Ballads of North Malabar) is a collection of Malayalam Ballads of medieval origin.

The teacher explains about the ballad to the students.
