              ‘ The Enchanted shirt ’ is a ballad
by the American poet John Hay. It is a story told in the form of poem. The poet
tells us the story of a king who lived in a self-centered life and never
bothered  to think of others. He said he
was sick but his cheek was red and eyes clear and bright.

1.    Vadakkan Pattukal (or Ballads of North Malabar) is a collection of Malayalam
  Ballads of medieval origin.
